PEP’s Choice Program offers a range of services to people with a medical condition or disability who are seeking employment or already working and may benefit from extra assistance.

Jobseekers:

We help you improve job-seeking skills, such as how to be successful at interviews and identify innovative ways to get you that job.

Training support can vary from equipment training to arranging a tutor, or on the job support from a job coach.

As part of the Choice Program an individual action plan will be created for you to help you find the right job. And Choice’s support continues for as long as it is required.

Your plan can include:
• Skills training or further education
• Job sampling and work experience
• Counselling, if required
• Job search and placement
• Post placement on the job support

You will also have access to PEP’s job matching services and community services.

Choice works closely with its network of suppliers to ensure any workplace modifications are obtained as quickly as possible.  Loan equipment is available for people with vision impairments.

Once a job is found our workplace assistance includes ensuring your work conditions are fair, helping you increase your chances of gaining promotion, or helping prepare you to change jobs.

Workers (those already in employment)

If your job is at risk due to a disability or medical condition Choice will assist you and your employer to address problems arising in the workplace to ensure you retain your employment or move to another more appropriate position.

Our workplace assistance includes ensuring your work conditions are fair, helping you increase your chances of gaining promotion, or helping prepare you to change jobs.
